Et war eemol e Prënz, deen onbedéngt eng Prinzessin wollt bestueden … D’Kënschtler:innen vum Traffik Theater erziele mat Zeechnungen, Objeten a Live-Musek eent vun de bekanntste Märercher vum Hans Christian Andersen, a froen sech awer och, ob wierklech nëmmen eng richteg Prinzessin et fäerdeg bréngt, duerch 20 Plommepillemen a Matrassen eng kleng Ierbes ze spieren. Wat wier, wann e Prënz den Ierbessentest misst maachen? A firwat muss engem Prënz seng Fra sou sensibel sinn? Wat wier, wann se just zëmperlech a kriddeleg wier?

An empty platform, a solitary clown, a bag full of mystery. And you open the door to an unexpected world. Mixing burlesque poetry and rhythmic dancing, the precise movements of flamenco meet the clumsy and comical steps of the clown. Our friend leaps forward, stumbles at times, even gets charmingly tangled up in her ruffled dress, but is always striving to tell us something essential: how to grasp the freedom to express ourselves and be ourselves, without masks or diversion. In this sensitive and funny journey full of fabulous finds, Olé! resonates like a party, instilling a vital impetus to be shared.

Founded in Cape Town, Zip Zap Circus has developed its own social circus school, using circus arts as a tool for inclusion, empowerment, and social transformation. Alongside their show Moya, the company offers a workshop for children and their parents to discover their fun and accessible approach to circus, focused on connection, cooperation, and respect for differences. The workshop is open to children aged 8 and up, accompanied by one or more adults.
Dear audience, you’re attending the Awards ceremony, no more and no less, compared to which the Palms, Césars, Lions, Ours and Oscars look like cheap trophies. Virtuoso circus performers, the nine members of the Back Pocket company serve as masters of ceremony, prizewinners and magnificent losers in this show evoking a cinema gala. Except that the glitz soon gives way to manifest jealousies, and the glamorous smiles are supplanted by the most rewarding low blows. The awards ceremony goes out of control, the humour fizzes like champagne, and the red carpet then becomes the stage for high-flying acrobatic prowess!
As unstoppable as Usain Bolt in the 100 metres, two men who are complete opposites, but driven by the same desire to show off their muscles and reach Olympic heights, will have the audience shaking with laughter. On the programme: warm-up, boxing, swimming and a range of other sports performed according to the rules … of the clowning art! Patrice Thibaud and Philippe Leygnac borrow from the best of Buster Keaton and Laurel and Hardy to combine music, mime and running gags. Between rivalry and hits below the belt, these two sporty cocks of the walk offer a show whose audacity, eccentricity and comedy know no boundaries.

Se schaffen all mat, just de Frederick net. Aplaz Fruucht, Mais, Nëss a Friichten am Lach an der Mauer unzeheefen, sëtzt de Frederick do an dreemt. „Firwat schaffs du näischt?” froen di aner Mais. „Ma ech schaffen dach!” seet de Frederick. Hie sammelt Faarwen, Sonn, Musek a schéi Wierder fir déi laang Wanterowenter. Hie gëtt zu engem, deen aus dem Näischt Freed a Schéines erbäi zaubere kann… Hien ass e richtegen Artist!

Aerial straps, trapeze, Cyr wheel, juggling and somersaults: ten artists from South Africa let loose in a display of liberating, acrobatic and colourful élan. Moya celebrates the footwork of two dances full of life and hope, performed in protest against apartheid: gumboot, inherited from the slaves who beat their rubber boots in the mines, and pantsula, a kind of house dance born in the black ghettos of Johannesburg. On a world tour, the Zip Zap company puts its boots back on and twirls, with an insane energy, between contemporary circus and South African melting pot.
