Season Launch

On Friday 25 September, we’re kicking off the new season!

Before the performance of Rave Lucid, the Escher Theater team invites you to join us from 6.30pm at the Bistrot La Souffleuse, on the third floor of the Theatre.

Enjoy a drink on us and hear our director, Carole Lorang, give a brief introduction to the season ahead.

After the performance, the evening continues with an exclusive DJ set by MazelFreten.

No booking required.

Circus workshop

Alongside their show Wolf the Circa Ensemble will bring participants closer to their art. Circa’s approach is physical and experiential – expect to sweat, bend, run and leap while you encounter new perspectives on performance!

The workshop led by members of the Circa Ensemble will focus on a particular scene and movement language from Wolf where participants learn new circus skills and movement languages specific to the show. These performance components are then integrated to create a sequence or scene accompanied by the Wolf musical composition by Ori Lichtik.

4-Space-Theory is a dynamic improvisational and dramaturgical toolkit created by Circa’s Artistic Director, Yaron Lifschitz. In this workshop participants will be introduced to the theory through movement and improvisation.

This open workshop welcomes participants of all backgrounds — no circus experience is required.

No prior dance experience is required – only curiosity and the joy of discovering movement in a playful and open way.
